Now I have had some odd emails but this just has to be the most odd. If anyone could explain to me why I have it and what it is I would be grateful.

It begins:

Dear Mr ******

Sorry for any harm this letter would cause to you, however, you do not know me from creation, but I came about your contact at an independent sources. I am Dr. Abel Dabo the chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission. (INEC)
Under the present regime of president Olusegun Obasanjo, of the federal republic of Nigeria. During the last general election, over N40billion was released to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the conduct of the April general elections. The following were released to provided for the commission in the 2003 Budget: recurrent expenditure, (N5.615billion); capital projects (7.24billion) electoral Matters (N15.19billion) and grants to the 30 political parties (N600 million). The money was part of the earlier N1.9billion allocated to the commission. My commission had earlier received N27billion for election matters before the Christmas. It also received over N7.3billion fro the registration of voters that toke place in the Sept. last year. But the commission released over N420million to seven political parties on account of their electoral performance at the April National Assembly Elections all in our local currency. Now the federal government has ordered the audit of the commission’s account. The external auditors from the offices of MessrsKPMG and Giwa Osagie have been enlisted for the job The audit of the account of the commission came
as INEC released N420 million to seven political parties on the basis of their membership at the national Assembly. But, during the course of this exercise, I was able to move the sum of usd$20million through a diplomatic means tagged diplomatic paraphernalia to Europe, deposited in security company As a civil servant to the federal government I cannot introduce such sum of money into our local banking system neither allowed to operate a foreign account. It is in view of these stringent conditions that, i decided the best way to approach the task on the claim of this fund from the security company, for a proposed investment is to liaise with someone outside Nigeria, who has an existing and suitable account for the receipt of the fund. Hence you were contacted. I humbly solicit your able assistance in the execution of this transaction; you would be compensate
for your involvement in successful accomplishment of this transaction. In your acceptance of this letter kindly forward to me your telephone number to enable me be in contact with you as we familiarize personalities as we as procedures to this transaction. Do acknowledge the receipt of this letter no matter what your
decision may be.

Regards.

Dr. Abel Dabo.

It means you are the chosen one, and must hide in the darkest of dark places until the day of retribution.

I read a bit of it, but it was boring as hell so my concentration wandered. finally I had to admit I wasn't taking any of it in and stop.
