I was just wondering again. When I got an S-Video for my DVD Player, and plugged the Cable in, I could not see the screen, only aided with the Composite Video Lead to see the screen so I could change the Option to "S-Video" and then the picture was crystal!

Will the same thing happen for the PS2, or shall I change the Option to S-Video with an RGB Cable so then when I put in the S-Video so I can see the picture???

I did actually manage to guess that Web Page yesterday, and I was correct as well, so I had a look to see what deals they had. I did not want to buy the TV from these people, because firstly I cannot be bothered to sit and wait around for it to be delivered when I can instantly pick it up from the store. Also, which made ms ay no, was the fact that it did Not include the cabinet, and as I want the Cabinet for the TV to go on, I deicded to buy from Comet. The good thing is the store is near me, and also I can take it away with me. So the fact of this TV is that I will have it up and running by the end of Sunday!

This TV was featured on Shopsmart UK under "Widescreen TV" which was good, but if you looked at the display, you would agree with me that it is the best choice for the price range! If I had £700 to spend, then it would be a Sony Wega Widescreen, but I have to settle for the next one, but it's worth it!

If the above URL gets edited out, mail me at [email protected] for more info.

I don't think this price includes a stand, but you could get a decent stand from Argos or the like and still be saving money.

Last time I ordered from them, delivery time was 7 days, and they phoned to give me a date and make sure someone would be there to receive it. They also have an on-site warranty, should anything go wrong.

What is the Web Site for it, and how long is the delivery times? I need to know, as I do not wan to wait too long for it to be delivered, as I would like to have it very soon after I get paid, but the extra money does sound tempting, as that is the only TV I have seen around here!

Is there anyone that can beat that price? I don't think so, as you have managed to find that excellent price there!!!

The Technical name for this Toshiba Widescreen (To make sure) is: 28W93D.
Sometimes TV's go down, whether this will is uncertain, but normally because Toshiba is so good, they stay frozen at that price, but as long as the price does not rise! So in fact, to cut the long story short, you get a Widescreen TV AND a Monster Gamelink 300 for UNDER £500!

You can't say fairer than that not can you!?
I will be getting these Items, Gamelink already, but I will not test the Cable until it is connected to the Widescreen, the proper Digital TV!!!

Does anyone have a Widescreen with this Cable, or does anyone have any better recommendations than I have given? I am sure you are. Don't be shy, we don't bite (well, not too hard anyway ;-) )

Yes! I finally ordered one tonight, a bit later than they were open but they said that they will process my order tomorrow and have the Gamelink 300 cable on Thursday Morning! So you see it is a very fast delivery, and even better seeing as it comes to me rather than me coming to the cable! The number to phone is: 07000 028346

The cable costs £59.99

About the T.V. I will be getting a 28" Toshiba Widescreen for £429.99. I had a look in Comet and the picture looked near perfect and better than the others!

I have already bought the Monster Gamelink S Video
cable from a UK source [£59.99 del]. They are ;
Hadwins Electrical, Kendal, Cunbria.

Sounds alot but the sound and picture quality on my 29"
Sony TV improved significantly over the "bog" standard cable Sony supply with the PS2.
