Some people may be worse but two wrongs don't make a right. As for trying to be pedantic just don't because you're not good at it. In the movie industry it is the third movie in the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. In literature terms it may not be but that's not what we are discussing.
It's not really Lord of the Rings 3. As Return of the King, its more of the third chapter or third book. Hate to be a nitpicker, but some people are worse....
I doubt there are many people not looking forward to that but I'll humour you. -
