Yes, ingrown toenails. I have one, I clenched my teeth and attepmted a bit of DIY removal with a pair of nail clippers and scissors, very sore and I still think there is some of that bloody (ambigous) toenail left.
So to sum it all up, ouch.

Yes, I too have this from time to time. The trick is to get rid of the bug_er before it takes hold. If you leave it for a few months you forget about it until you realise the damn thing is stickiing into your foot. And these things are meant to protect us!? Go figure.

I have an irritable bogie up my nose that i am going to go and pick now.

Tip : Have a long bath to soften up the skin surrounding the nail. Then use some fine wire cutters (if you have them, if not I don't know, something similar) to trim it back.
