...or does the "Revo" look almost identical to the PS2.




It just tipified fanboyism when one of my friends that went on and on about how crap the PS2 looks and then praises the new Revo. They're identical.

PS2 = 2 black dull boxes stuck together

'Revo' = One shiny box

I prefer the 'Revo', however neither are particularly imaginative.

Well, it's similar, but to be honest I'd say the design seems more like a homage to the NES than anything else.

And, if you think about it further, the PS2 was big, bulky and felt like two blocks stuck together (i.e. it didn't have a consistent shape).

The Revolution is black... and rectangular, but really that's where the comparisons stop. Take a look at the different coloured machines if you don't agree. It's tiny, sleek, economical, and there isn't much point in going into any further detail because it's not the final design anyway.

So yeah - cut your mate some slack, eh?
