...or does the "Revo" look almost identical to the PS2.




It just tipified fanboyism when one of my friends that went on and on about how crap the PS2 looks and then praises the new Revo. They're identical.

Only in shape and colour! PS2* is larger and has a matt finish, Revolution is smaller and has a shiny finish. There are huge ugly ports and vents all over the PS2, not so on the Revolution.

* I refer to the original PS2 of course!

Hmmm...

Just noticed that originally, the release pictures for the PS2 didn't show controllers with wires. So possibly the PS3 isn't as wireless as originally thought...

It's not that similiar, but considering that the Rev. will come out in different colours, it's hardly suprising that it's shaped in the usual rectangular format - I mean, most DVD players, VCRs, Digibox's... Well, nearly everything under the telly is shaped like that.

Apart from them both being black and box-shaped. But there's only so much you can do in that department.

At least the Revo doens't have those annoying little dust crevices.

Still nothing really all that similar.

The only reason the Revo is smaller is because it's newer. Atleast compare like for like by looking at a new thin PS2.

I think the Revolution looks a lot sleeker than the PS2.
