I think the forum, over the last few days, has gotten far too sensible.

It's true... far too many "normal" topics... not enough little quips, far, FAR too many long replies... and everybodies acting intelligent...

Which brings me to an obvious conclusion:

While I was away Saturday, a woman has entered the forums.

There's no other explanation for everyone's sudden and rather obscure maturity... :0)

How about game-a-day attempts go into a special thread that way ali and tony would be able to judge them better.

Over the weekend something like 7-800 posts must have gone up, are they expected to read all of those and pick a winner. I think it would be better if there was a specail thread for attempts.

just a suggestion anyway.....

A scoring system:

If it's not ever been posted in different wording: +10
For every reply +1 (look at that record breaker topic)
For every topic that is original with a bit of humour +5
For swearing, abusive, or just stupid messages -10

I think reviews should be judged VERY carefully cos they are usually bits of other reviews with an added bit of writing from the writer!

We could award Games to the sexiest poster... but, I would start to feel bad for everyone else after a while

and lets now let some silly posts win gameaday, I reckon it shouldn't be the quality but the effect it has as a disscussion!

Anything that makes you laugh out loud - +5 points
Anything that teaches you something you didn't know about games - +7 points
Anything that involves why am I not winning Gameaday - -5 points

Anything that gets a lot of good replies - +4

Anything that is not about games at all - -2

etc...

Suggest a rating (scoring) system

And when, exactly, does Ali ever feel in a normal mood?
