Is it me or are all the people with high quality PCs getting very frustrated with games.
I have pentium 4 on my PC with 256mb and i can only get two games on it,and the most frustrated thing about it is that i got them near christmas so now when i ask my parents for a PC game at christmas i will have to get a card to get more memory on it, so now i have to spend around £30 on memory and £30 on a game!I could of got to games for that price!
Its crazy!!!

PCs are great. If I had to choose between all three consoles OR a PC, it'd be the PC every time.

Send e-mail with your gamecube? Nope
Download Music with your X-Box? I think not
Look at Porn with your PS2? Negatory

My aunt went to Uni and got a degree in computers. Not long after, my dad bought a new PC. This was in 1996, I was 12 and had never had a PC before and only ever used BBC/Acorn computers in primary school.

My aunt couldn't install a game that I wanted on there. She spent an hour trying.

After she went, I gave it a try and it took me 2 minutes before I was playing.

Children are learning computers at young ages now, and they're hardly difficult to understand the basics. So don't give me any of this, "what kid knows how to turn on a PC at 14?" crap.

You can only have two games on your computer? You start off with more than that with just Windows installed!

Before you spout off about the problems of PC gaming, learn about PCs a little first.

And with that little outburst, there goes any inclination to assist.

Congratulations.

Agreed. The best thing for you? Ask for an Xbox this Xmas, games will play well on them things. Want to PC only games? Ask a techie friend to help you choose a stonking great PC. Or alternatively, ask... here... which you have done.

Like Robin says, it sounds like you have a tiny hard drive.

I also have a Pentium 4 with 256MB RAM - I've had it for over 2 years now, and I have a stack of games on it - including several of the latest games. There's no trouble running any of them, and plenty of room to add more.
