Twitter is becoming very popular. Its on a website, the Iphone and Ipod touch, mobile phone, even in a widget on Verizon Fios TV. WOW! I don't visit twitter because i don'tl ike the videos that people put on there. Twitter, MySpace and Facebook, the three biggest social networking sites of them all.

As far as it just depends who you have on it , it's like that on every social networking website. Speaking of which, aren't we already on one of those sites?

This is an old thread you've 'woken up'!

I'm no fan of social networking - mybook, and facespace, etc. but thought I would give Twitter a try.

As with most things it all depends on how you use it and for me I've found it quite a useful tool.

As pb says, it's a good way to easily and quickly keep in touch with developments in things that interest you.
