That's great. You could start your career as a cleaner for Rare and then sweep them off their feet.

Hey. You said start at the bottom!

The old Bullfrog (pre-EA) used to ask potential developers to write a complete game for them... so they could evaluate the results...

Try starting from the bottom of the games world and working your way up!

Most games designers nowadays don't just draw a few images on the screen and ask programmers to make a game with these images!

They have to draw complex detailed images and tell the programmers exactly what they want done!

And I'm sure that's not all they do!

Also, you might look into 3d Studio Max and Bryce. These programs are really popular right now with computer artists.

Right then before I fall asleep typing my advice is:

Draw some original characters by freehand (hand)
then draw the same characters in photoshop.
Do this for a few characters, get the contact info for the companies, and send them a CV and everything about yourself, also say why you would love to do something like this, blag your way through but getting on there good side and then stun them with your drawings which you have done so many times, from different angles and VP and then they will I guarentee offer you a job in a field as they need young talent, and companies know when they see a good thing.

Good night, ask anymore questions after 4:00pm tomm. I will be at work collecting my testable games for the week. wooppee another level of some shoddy game!
