Anyone interested in this package, retailing at 34 uid in the SR ,mag. This is cheap for two games, I could be tempted into buying it....

The GTA3 and Vice City. Boring and repetitive? Interesting theory, which doesn't stand up in practice.
They are two of the greatest titles ever conceived. Yes, there are bugs, but they are minor considering the scale of the game and the number of different genres they encompass.
The mix of so many different styles is what gives the games their mass appeal. To be honest, if you can't find something good or even just decent in these games, then their must be something wrong with you!
I suspect a lot of the negative comments are due to 'format envy' - i.e. "I can't get it on my favourite console, so it must be crap." You usually find that's the case, though few ever admit to it.
I can remember a few Xbox owners slating Vice City this time last year who are now full of praise!

Lets put it this way, you tell me a better game which includes so many different modes into one and then you can laugh. The GTA games are superb fun to play unless you are a A grade mong who likes to buck against popularity. Most of the people who critise it haven't even played either of them, it was like the release of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, people saw the name and commented without seeing it and they were so so wrong. The same applies here unless you are just a compelte moron.
