I was sitting here, talking to der Badgerman on Muhsuhnuh, with my earphones in my... ears, when I brought my wrist up to look at the time. The earphone wire caught on the excess strap, and hooked, thus yanking a speaker from above down. I dived forward with my left arm in a vain attempt to prevent it.
I aimed forward, with my body weight shifting quickly. I missed it, and it hit a full glass of Canada Dry off my desk, so my right arm flailed towards that to stop that.
I then, somehow, flew off my chair, grasping onto the nearest things.
My keyboard... and my monitor.
I think Badger got a barrage of sdifjsdfs sdfiudf, and my monitor had slipped precariously to the upper shelf bit of my desk.
So. Close.
Anyway, I was lying on the deck wondering how the hell all that happened.
My head hurts.
