I recently bought The Simpsons: Hit and Run for my Gamecube. I must admit I was pretty impressed, however once I had completed the game (within 2 days)100%, I realized that there was nothing else I could do with it. I plan to swap it for another game. However this has nothing to do with my idea. The Simpsons game had a great story line, and some good fmv sequences. I recently discovered that The Simpsons plan a movie for 2005/2006, I think that the story line for the Simpsons: Hit and Run would make a perfect movie, and the apocolyptic end level would make a great ending for the film. I would love to see zombies infest the town and the humans gathering together to fight them. I loved the halloween episode -"dial z for zombie", that is a bit like the end level of Hit and Run, except sadly in the game you don't get to use a shotgun or anything. Anybody else think this would make a good movie? a 12A rating probably but I would see it.

to kittyworld - It is like GTA up to a point. You can are limited to "checking out" Springfield. However it is like GTA because you can get in any car you want, except you sort of "hitch" a ride rather than beat the crap out of the guy to get the car. I have to admit, the camera for this is so much better than GTA also. Basically it's GTA for kids, but if you're a big fan, then I'd recommend it.

Stop telling lies about the game, "johnny", you're a big liar (a.k.a non-truth teller).

So is it like a GTA? As in can you go roaming around Springfield checking everything out, I did enjoy Simpsons Road Rage as I'm a fan of Crazy Taxi. Aww no phoning Moe that's a let down, =( if I recall the characters you can be are everyone in the family and Apu? I'd like to have been able to play as Moe or Barney that would have been fun ^_^ no wait Mr Burns. So many great characters.

It's been given pretty good reviews I better place an order for it.

to kittworld - it isn't like the arcade game at all. Sad thing is you can't get weapons or anything. No skateboard, no catapult, no water balloons. You can't even call Moe...apart from these (and many more missing things) the game isn't bad, especially with the wide aray of vehicles and costumes. Especially "The hover bike"! ^_^

Ahahahaha.

What a character.

It's like my pappy always used to say, "Son, if you've got nothing nice to say about a person, always say "They're a real character"."

thank you kittworld for returning to the topic. Yes the arcade game was great. It was "Bart versus the Space Mutants" I loved that game so much. Infact I still have it for the sega mega drive.

Getting back on topic I havent played the game yet, really looking forward to though. I wonder if it's anything like the one I played on the Amiga, something about spraying over purple stuff.

I havent really enjoyed past Simpson games, although I think everyone loves the arcade game, that was so fun ^__^

The Simpsons movie, now that is something I'd like to see, I have no idea what it'll be like, recent episodes of the simpsons havent been that good but I'm hoping the movie will rekindle my love of the series. I think I read somewhere that they would do the movie after the show stopped.
