Places like IGN have a board for each game. But then, they're only a games site. SR do the whole caboodle now, not just games. I prefer the older style, but still, I'm used to the current format, as is 1000 or so other posters.

All those different games forums sort of look like a good idea to me. Why did they put an end to it?

i guess these days there would be too many games to have a different forum for each, although its probably not that much different to a couple of years ago.

Very interesting though.

August 2000. Hmmmm. That's after I registered, but a couple of months before I started checking the forums frequently.

So Grix, how did you hear about UKdiscussions? And, if there was only 6 or 7 members, why did you stick around?

Probably about seven of us all chatting, getting annoyed at a newbie, then writing a topic about how virtual reality or something.

Trust it to get popular, tut.

I'd like to read what posts people had left in them, but it wasn't to be :(
