In Dorking the fireworks were on last Saturday. Unfortunately I missed them because I was coming back from seeing United vs fulham, and its a 4 1/2 hour drive.

main road about 4 metres from my house. well, the best thing we can do for him is to put him on a lead attached to the table. ok, he's dragging the table around (he's not a small dog, y'know), but he's finally sat himself down. he hyperventilates and everything. oh, and dont even MENTION when we had a thunderstorm last.
god, it nearly made ME crap meself.
i guess the reason for arnie's fear is because his mother, rosie died as a result of fireworks. she ran away while we were coming back from bristol, where grandad lives, and she got ran over on a bridge over the river anker.
that's why he's scared to death - because the last time he saw her was on fireworks night.
