I've just heard that the guy opposite my room has "just finished downloading three films" off the internet, and that it took him ages. Now, seeing as he's the only person in my corridor that hasn't talked to me yet (or better still, given me some weird looks of hate), should I tell the university that he's been "misusing" the network system? I hear they don't take kindly to illegal downloads, heh heh.

I know if some fool who i didn't know grassed me up like a little crying baby then me and a few mates would pay him a nice visit some time during the night.
He may be the same.

Internet access may be checked by some IT chaps and, I presume, you have some sort of fileshare prog or illegal downloads such as mp3's etc - so you could get in a bit of bother for it.

However if you are on the straight and narrow then more power to you.

Dont bother telling, they'll only clamp down on security and probably end up backfiring on you.

Damn right, anything that involves people being hurt or past certain levels of law breaking when not concerning people needs acting on. The Traffic Warden is only doing his job isn't he.

Um... yes. I think most NORMAL people would tell the police. Beating up a traffic warden, while comical in theory, isn't very nice.
