The very latest that i've read about is that the console is being delayed by a few months (bad mistake after N64).
The Nintendo President Hiroshi Yamauchi announced that the Gamecube will come out in Japan on the 14th September (suggesting that more delays are unlikely with such a specific date) and the U.S launch will be now in mid-November (originally October.
But the good news out of all this is that the Gamecube hasn't been delayed for release in Europe - it is still due for Spring 2002!

hello all,

i agree with u Grix, if the games are rushed they'll leave little things out.

Even if it is released early... it would be bad.

Games would be rushed, and I'll rather wait to let them finish in their own time than force it forward, and put more pressure on them.

Edgy, don't trust NOM too much. they concentrate on telling you what you want to hear in order to sell more copies.

Don't expect the Gamecube until Spring 2001.

We might have it by Christmas, but don't bet on it!

The latest date from Nintendo Official Magazine is December this year for UK release.

I've also heard that Nintendo are trying to release their 2 new consoles earlier if they find it possible due to popular demand!

Small adjustment, America is still October, not Meka's fault, but Reuters.
