Hi there.

Can anyone reccomend me a decent (free) C++ compiler that I can start to learn on? Because there seems to be so many out there - It's difficult to know what the difference is.

What do you guys use? I'm guessing obviously the people with Linux'll use its own compiler - but hey.

That's the one I used when I was doing C++. It's very simple and good.

Toget it to work with Windows though, the gcc compiler is bundled with a prog called VygWin - http://www.cygwin.com/

gcc is widely used.

And it comes included in Linux, though you can easily download it from the site.
