More than 60 exclusive Game Boy Advance titles are expected by Christmas, and Nintendo says that most software made for the other Game Boy systems are compatible with the new hardware.
The Japan market, which gets the GBA on March 21, will have 25 titles available at launch, up from the previously announced 10. Nintendo hopes to ship 24 million units of the Game Boy Advance worldwide by the end of March 2002.

Well as we expected the GBA will cost about £100 but I am a bit shocked about the £40 games! I don't know what to think about that, I hope we see some price drops before the UK release date...but what are the chances of that! I am glad to see that all previous GBC games will work with the GBA well 99% of them anyway!

As far as I am aware, there won't be a territorial lock-out. There wasn't with the GameBoy, so with any luck, Nintendo won't bother with the Gameboy Advance.
As for games prices, I'll be importing from the US - plain and simple. It works out cheaper and as always, they're bound to get the decent titles before we will.
I'm excited about this new handheld, having never owned a handheld before, the opportunity to witness the second coming of the SNES, is simply too good to pass up.

But £30-£40 for games is way, way too much!
£25 should be the maximum.
Nintendo have realised that the GBA is a popular franchise and are planning to release games for £30 - £40!
Some of which you can pick up for £5 as 10 YEAR OLD SNES GAMES!
Nintendo are simply trying to milk as much money as they can out of us. My Verdict?
The GBA is the PS2 of handhelds!
