If I change the Track name, Artist, Genra and all that on iTunes.. will it all come across onto iPod?

If not, know any good Tag editing programs?

Another thing, will the iPod recognise repeats of files?

Yeah, if you change all of the tags iTunes then it will go straight onto your iPod when you connect sync it up. But if you then go to EphPod or Musicmatch (which I doubt you would do, because that's pretty pointless if you've got iTunes) then they will not have been saved... just in iTunes. So in short - yes. In long - see above.
