Saw an advert for it last night on BBC3, then punched the air. When I said Peep Show was the best thing on TV, I forgot about this. It has to be up there somewhere.

For those who don't know, it's a dark, witty, well written comedy animation series. It takes what critics would call a "sideways look at reality". Nice blend of satire and just-plain-funny sketches.

Unfortunately there wasn't a date given, only "coming soon". Mr Hoppy!

I saw the repeat, thought it was pretty much excellent as always. The Paedo Finder General is brilliant.

"By the powers invested in me by mass hysteria, I find you guilty of paedophilia!"
"On what grounds?"
"It says so on your trunks!"
"That says Speedo, my hand was covering the S."
"There's no smoke without fire."

And the fake gangster was quite funny. The TV controller, also. Plus first time cottager.

"So he'll turn into one of them too?"
"No, that's a myth, it only happens if they actually ingest some of the monster's seed, but apparently he's not capable of even this simple task"

I still love this show to bits.

If witless buffoonery was entertainment, Zeppo would be raking in millions.

Heh. Little Britain followed by Monkey Dust...I've not laughed at an evening's viewing for quite some time...
