Taking a slight detour from my original plan of today (including the skipping of one lecture and 25mins of a class), I queued for just over two hours to meet Martin Freeman (Tim), Lucy Davis (Dawn), Evan Macintosh (Keith), Mackenzie Crook (Gareth), and best of all Ricky Gervais, who I made laugh, thus making me by default the funniest person alive.
It's been a good day.
The thing is, I didn't even say anything funny. I think he was in one of those hyper moods that you see him in on TV and stuff. I was holding up the queue (because I was getting two copies signed, which wasn't allowed as the security guards constantly said), and I said 'everyone's looking at me, I'm gonna be busted', and he started cackling like a madman, and shouted 'Guards!', which was funny for a second but then I was nearly pounced on by three heavies until he told them it was a joke.
