I have a Physics project to do for Uni on basically anything I want to do it on. My brain isn't functioining too well at the moment so has anyone got any quirky (realistic) ideas on what to do for it?

Something to do with the China space launch perhaps? Or is that a bit too obvious?

Never did Science beyond GCSE but I'd say a good bet is to find something in the recent news that's related in some way and go from there - if it's not immediately obvious what the relation is more the better as it shows you can apply the subject to the real world, and that you take an interest (or appear to, which is just as good) in news related to your subject.

*Puts thinking cap on*

BING!

You could do a presentation on whether it's possible to turn back time if you flew a ship* fast enough around the earth in the opposite direction it's spinning!

*I know Superman didn't use a ship, but Superman's head wouldn't explode when he goes into space...outta space..into..outta...into..*Head explodes*

Lol, that would certainly, ummm, stand out, Mystique. :P

Not a bad idea Azul. Two or 3 others in the class have already earmarked it though.

Yeah, or the effects on radioactive spiders biting you. It could turn you into Spiderman.

The effects of exposure of Gammar Radiation on the DNA of Humans. And whether you really can turn into The Hulk if you get blasted with it.
You could test this on Hamsters.

It's not like it's cruel to Hamsters, the world needs more Hulk Hamsters

Aaaaaahhhh, so it's like a sort of presentation type thing on paper.
I see now.

An obvious, but probably challenging one, could be Einstein and E=mc˛.
Hmm.
