I have just heard that Mother Teresa is going to become a saint. Well I know she was really good and always did the right thing and got involved with helping everyone less fortunate. But I think as one Catholic says that she wasnt a saint but she was just extroninary, but no saint, just extremly special. Also why did the pope get rid of Saint Chistopher? The current pope didnt make him a saint so why get rid of him? And in the future will some other pope decide to take Mother Teresa's title away from her aswell?

You sure it's saint? I heard she got 'closer to being a saint' by being made a blessed of the Church (or something to that effect).

But does she really deserve that title?

You have to perform two miracles to become a saint don't you?
Surely this means that there should in truth be no saints, as miracles don't happen, except when Ole Gunnar Solksjaer scored in the Camp Nou of course.

Sainthood: it's just a way of elevating benevolent individuals to god-like status. It's a spiritual sham invented by cunning illusionists.
