So now there are ever more prominent lawyers picking up on the dodgy grounds provided for war. This means one of two things:

1. That the legal grounds are shaky and these challenges to the justifications need to be met by the government

2. There are a lot more EVIL GODLESS COMMUNIST SMOKERS in this country than one may have thought.

Really? US companies like Halliburton would still be able to operate there. And let's not forget - this government doesn't exist!

Key words:

Statement
Wants

Neither of those imply any action is being taken, so no, it does not disprove anything.

Okay, another way of putting it.

Number of actual legal rulings that the Iraq War was illegal=0

Number of Parliamentary Votes taken by nearly all MP of all parties which voted in favour of action=2

Number of UN Sanctions against invading powers for illegal invasion of another country =0

Number of world leaders quoted as saying it was illegal=0

Number of Actual Cases brought, or currently running in a court of law that war was illegal=0

Number of countries Iraq under Saddam Hussein invaded=2

Does a new UN resolution which would see some power restored to an Iraqi elected government somewhat disprove this was a landgrab ? Yes.

Does the US Statement that it wants Iraqi's to police themselves as soon as possible somewhat disprove this was a landgrab ? Yes.

Did previous UN Resolutions not allow for such action anyway ? Yes.

Had Iraq broken endless resolutions post 1991 ? Yes.

And that is turning the other way, holding hands over eyes and shouting "Make it stop, make it stop!"

Because The Guardian, of course, has full control of the words coming out of the mouth of "Lord Alexander of Weedon QC, chairman of the all-party law reform group, Justice, a former chairman of the bar and ex-chairman of NatWest." The dirty commie.

Here is UN resolution 1441.

http://www.un.org/Depts/unmovic/documents/1441.pdf

On page 3, paragraph 1, it sais the UN:

>Decides that Iraq has been and remains in material breach of its >obligations under relevant resolutions, including 687(1991), in >particular through Iraq's failure to cooperate with United Nations >inspectors and the IAEA, and to complete the actions required under >paragraphs 8 to 13 of resolution 687(1991).

That sais it all, the UN found Iraq in breach of resolution 687. 687 were the cease fire terms after the Gulf War. Here it is if anybody want to check it over, make sure that Iraq was breaking a resolution.

Though if the UN thinks they were, it's a sure bet they really were in breach of 687.

Heh, I dont agree with smoking, but I'd never use the fact that someone was a smoker to nullify their political beliefs.

I'm The Overlord for all commie-smokers apparently.

Yep, I write all the news stories all over the world.
Those millions of people globally protesting and marching? That was me too, a bit like The Burly Brawl in Reloaded.
I also made all the news agencies, newspapers and the internet think that the reasons offered are shaky at best, illegal and immoral at worst.
I made those WOMD disappear. They were in plain sight before we invaded, they were in the street with big "WEPONZ HERE!! HAHAHAHA" signs you could see from space, I hid them all.
I created Dr Kelly from jam and then made Gilligan, Hoon etc give evidence.
Hutton? That was me as well, just in a mask.
I have managed to fog the minds of decent, upstanding patriots the world over and made them just *think* we can't find any weapons anywhere.
Yep.
Oh, and I also dressed as Tony Blair and gave an address to the nation where I told you all that we were under a "very serious and immediate threat from Saddam Hussein".

And I fooled you all!
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
