This is where I want to live.
Nobody around, huge skies and blue sea. North coast of Scotland. Best holiday ever.

Cost a fortune keeping the house warm though.

And at least there wont be any hooligans around to pelt your windows.

If you live in the middle of nowhere, where does your property boundary go. Like if you live on a cottage on top of a hill with nothing else in sight, how much do you own. Like, when you go out to mow the lawn, how much do you mow? Not that I care, much.

Yes, a wide-open landscape appeals to me greatly. I want one.

I would like to live somewhere pretty secluded but not desolate and cold like scotland. My own island somewhere in the med would be much nicer.

I'd rather be somewhere where there is something to do other than wear hillbilly clothing and make a show of chopping wood you don't need in the sumer sun.

I can see it's appeal though, to people looking to get away from the noise of modern society.

Was always told I would love it up there, never bothered to go. Then finally did and fell in love with it.

Oh, and if you link to nudity, please give a warning - some of work in an office with other people.

I've been upto the top of Scotland. It was about 80 miles down from Wick - at a place called "Embo" - The nearest town began with a D but I can't remember its name.

Amazingly quiet - Sea and cold refreshing clean air.

I say you should go and live there because its so damn amazing.
