Anybody watch this on Channel 4 over the last two week-ends?
Robert Carlyle plays Hitler in what shows the rise to power of the Nazi party in Germany from the end of World War One to 1933 when Hitler unites the Chancellorship and Presidency of Germany so he becomes the only leader etc.
I found it very good and accurate as I studied the period in history last year... yep excellent. Better than any rubbish out in the cinema these days.

An excellent piece of TV. Some really great acting from Carlyle, but the bit where he went crazy at the dog was a bit weird, though.

I thought it was excellent as well - I shuddered when I thought of Robert Carlysle (sp?) playing Hitler, but I thought his portrayal was very good.
