"Hitler: The Rise of Evil"

Anybody watch this on Channel 4 over the last two week-ends?

Robert Carlyle plays Hitler in what shows the rise to power of the Nazi party in Germany from the end of World War One to 1933 when Hitler unites the Chancellorship and Presidency of Germany so he becomes the only leader etc.

I found it very good and accurate as I studied the period in history last year... yep excellent. Better than any rubbish out in the cinema these days.

What? It's just a name, for God's sake. I just use it because I can't be arsed to change it, and I thought it had a great sound to it.

And Xerxes killed a lot of people too. Although the figure's more like 30,000, it's still quite a lot.

Indirectly? I would say innitiating World War II and ordering the systematic destruction of the Jewish people makes him pretty much directly responsible, aside from the fact that he didn't personally get a gun and try and shoot them all himself.
