There are currently no plans to make any more star wars after episode 3, but below is a link to the unofficial proposed plot synopsis of Episode 7 (following on from Return of the Jedi). To be honest it sounds a little ridiculous to me, with dark jedi having plans to clone Darth Vader - sounds like they're definitely running out of ideas. (note - any film where they have to clone the bad guy is bound to be terrible)

I warn you, contained elsewhere on that site is a few snippets of info concerning the plot of episode 3 too. Sounds like a beast if you don't mind having the surprise spoiled a bit. Why we have to wait nearly 2 more years is beyond me .....

anyway, the link :

In my opinion they should take either the Timothy Zahn Heir to the Empire trilogy or the Dark Horse comics, both of which are set at the same period after ep6 and are far superior.

But hey, it's a mute point if they aren't going to make them anyway.

oh, and some episode 3 insider quotes for you :

• "...the third film is very, very, very dark. It's not a happy movie by any stretch of the imagination. It's a tragedy. Ultimately the final story is between Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin and the Padmé. It's really their story. Those four characters." - GL

• "Episode III will 'surprise, amaze and shock.' It will be the darkest of the six saga films it will tie the series together in 'unexpected and surprising' ways." - Sansweet

• "Episode III is the last one, so no-holds barred now." - RM

• "Armageddon will take place." - C2

• The major focus is the breakdown in friendship between Obi-Wan and Anakin. - SW Insider

sounds good to me, although I guess you've got to really enjoy the whole star wars thang.
