The daily mail reviewer delivered a punishing 2 stars out of 5.

He says its just too damn gory.

The day I listen to a Daily Mail movie review is the day I officially get kicked out of the film appreciation society. This coming from the same newspaper that has produced side-splitting Fred Bassett cartoons for the last millennia.

Get your facts right. The Daily Mail did two reviews on the same page about a week ago. One gave it 2/5, called it a shambles, self-indulgent nonsense, the other gave it 4/5 and said it was good, like a Tarantino film should be. But a week later they've decided to print the 2/5 review again, without even mentioning the other one. Kerazzy!

I think it looks a bit shoddy, and couldn't care less if I saw it or not. And you do see Bill - It's David Carradine.

You mean Bill? You do see his face. Whoever wrote that was a silly boy indeed.

It could also be the fact that it's in two parts. We all kknow the best is left to last in two or more part films.

I WANT TO SEE THIS.

The Daily Express gave it 4/5 i believe
They say there's lots of swords (Think pulp fiction shop scene) and that you never actually see the bad guys face.

Yeh same but when you think about it all QT films have something that is relatively surreal and funny in a quirky way. Just from watching the adverts you see Kill Bill is no different. I mean I don't know who the character is but one of them was dressed in pure white material with the features of a suit drawn on and she was wearing a leather eye patch heh. Now if you get her fighting in a really gory scene you can't help but find it a bit amusing. (Then again i'm only 15 and probably wont even see it until the DVD comes out so I can't really comment)

I may just be a humble little Scottish lad but when movie producers do that doesn't it mean that they achieved their goal of levity? Which I'm sure QT was seeking.
