I am the man in the stories of old,
I am the person you see on TV,
I am whoever I want you to see.
I am the officer holding the law,
I am the general starting the war,
I am the minister, holy as thou,
I am the farmer in charge of the plough.
I am the man with no origin,
I am the man who first made a sin,
I am the man who flew to the sun,
I am the man who is everyone.

Only if you pronounce 'plough' as 'pluff', which I believe they probably do in East Anglia. Apart from that it reads particualarly well when read out loud with an Indian sub-continent accent.
