I'd like to start by saying if you winge about this being off topic...then sod off. Yeah?
Right.
I'm gunna be buying the Satin Silver PS2. That's a definate. I need HCTP more then I need breath, or something. Anyway. I've now hit a little dilema. Well, not a dilema, but a decision.
Another website, let's call it "nozamA" (Hint :: Use a mirror...), is selling the PS2 I am after and an official memory card for £151.98. It comes with the two controllers and everything. It's exactly the same as SR's Fire Pack. Now the first thing I want to know is...
SR or 'nozamA'?
SR
• I can buy one from Egham and not online.
• I get five free reddies (wow :cD Involves renewing my membership though)
• It's easy to return if I get any faults.
nozamA
• £20 cheaper then SR.
• They have a better image (as in, they are more popular) then SR.
Okay. IF I go with nozamA, I have a few questions. Oh, and don't say "I can't answer these questions as I've never heard of nozamA", or I'll break your legs. Yeah.
• What is the postage cost?
• Do they offer a first class delivery thingymabob?
• What condition do the products come in?
• What sort of packaging do they use?
• Would you use them in my situation?
• How long will I be looking at for delivery?
Oh, and the console on it's own is £135 which is £15 cheaper then SR. I might just get the console on it's own and buy the memory card elsewhere. Dunno yet. So, decisions?
I have £130 (plus hopefully £10 from my brother, which he owes me) and I get £10 a week. So if I get it from SR, I could be looking at a 3 week wait.
And whoever mentioned Amazon? Eh?
Postage costs is gonna be different so I can't comment.
I'd go with Amazon, seeing as if anything was wrong with what you recieve, then its not like Amazon are some small company who buggers off the minute you have paid and recieved your item.
And they are cheaper, and you can get it quicker. But maybe if your not getting a game till Smackdown 5, then you could wait for SR as you'll get both round about the same time and not just be sitting there playing that 3 year old demo that comes with the PS2. :)
So yah I'd say Amazon.
