Just doing this now (had to delete a gig of music!), it's taking forever. On the bit where it tells you what it's installing, does it do HL2 and CS:S by default? It looked like I could select CS only, but it does HL2 anyway, right?

i have never booted up the bots, i hate them when i join a server thinking there are loads of people just to find out it's all bots with one or 2 humans.
Yesterday was another strange day for me playing css, we were doing crap on office, then in 3 rounds i killed about 15 people and moved to about hird on the table.
i didn't see anyone complaining either, no one yelled hax apart from you :P
But then on that server you don't really get people complaining about hax as even if you had them you'd probably die just as much from random nades and stray bullets.

I'll never understand why they introduced bots online. Does anyone actually like them? The whole point in playing is to shoot other people.
I did well once you left monkey_man and no one ever yelled 'hax' at me, of course i was alive most fo the time so it was probably when they died that they bitched about me

I had a few games before you showed up, managed to call someone a "hax", a "HAX!", and a "virgin".

EDIT: Ok, managed to get the CSS basic files from my Steam thing in about a minute (over half a meg - Jesus H Christ!), but now it's gonna take ages to get all the updates. Started on 800+ minutes, but now down to 600...
EDIT #2: Right, back on the internet, Steam is resuming the update and I've only got 15 minutes left! Huzzah!
