There was a young boy called robin
who really liked mary poppin'
he went home one day
to find his mum in dismay
for mary had ransacked the house
old mothe lawri
sat on the first story
eating butter and jam
when down came a robin
and sat on her bottin
and it never saw daylight again
Ba Ba balck robin ahve you any spam
Yes sir yes sir a chat room full
lots for snuggly
and some for bob
and a little bit for DW because he complains
The darkness wrapped around my throat
Choking the life from me
A thousand eyes this twilight has
Each one unwilling to see
It’s life, I know, this inherent urge
To look after number one
Uncaring about our fellow man
So what if they’ve lost or won?
Carefully now I softly tread
Along the edge of a knife
And as I lay down in my bed
I’m still thankful for this life.
I witness your blonde locks blowing in the breeze
I hear your soft Siren’s call
You are my beautiful blue-eyed temptress
To whose knee’s I would gladly fall.
When I think it is only of you
When I close my eyes, you’re all I see
You’re an incomparable elegant goddess
And your love shall set me free.

I was hoping Black Glove would contribute to this thread - his poems are excellent.
