Just put on my PS2 (slimline) and it doesn't seem to be able to read any discs. I tried ALL my games, and some DVD's, but all I get is that browser screen where you go to manage your memory card. It was working perfectly well this morning so I have no idea what's wrong with it, so has anyone else had this bother?

Buy a new one for £70, or a new PS2 for £100-ish. Or if you've still got warranty, then you'll get it repaired free. It's really surprising if you do, though, because Sony design them so they break after the warranty runs out.

Only had it since October, but it's the slimline model so it shouldn't have that discs read error the older PS2's had. Plus it doesn't actually say 'disc read error' it just won't load anything up for some reason.
One day longer than the warranty lasts probably :P
