He's read the script. And it's a good script.

The worst film I've seen this year is Shanghai Knights. I prefered Underworld to that.

This film is getting rave reviews in the US. The Rock's been getting good write-ups too.

Who'd have thought it?

It had poor sound effects? Or do you mean special effects - funny, the explosions and squibs looked fine to me. Or do you mean visual effects? Again, from what I can remember they were decent, and the film only cost $20 million, relatively cheap these days.

It's execreble.
Not just poor, but genuinely crap.

A potentially really good scenario destroyed by shoddy writing, poor SFX, awful acting and the regulation nu-metal soundtrack.

You're not really selling this film to me. I get the impression you didn't like it...
