Anyone getting this? It's looking very good indeed and it's just gone gold. Rumour has it that there will be a demo on the 10th or around then with the game being released on the 24th. I must admit I had my doubts as to whether or not this will come out in June but thankfully it is. I haven't read or seen much about this until now because I was trying not to get into all of the hype. Looks like a must have by the looks of it.

Some useful info

Battlefield went gold on June 1st 2005 and will be released on the 24th of June.

I'll try my best to get it at the beginning of July but I probably won't get it until September. By which time there might be something better around. Hopefully with an X800 ;}

Some organisations are able to claim VAT back, so I guess its for there benefit.

£1175 inc VAT and delivery. I've always wondered why they bother including the price without VAT, seeing as you have to pay it.

I went back to ATI because they have better imagine quality and better framerates. The Ultra is still a "daddy" card though. I'm sure you'll love it.

They release them every month cause most of the time they can't run the newest games straight off without crashes back to desktop or black screens, i would like nvidia to do updates more often.

But then i have never had a problem with a nvidia card where as i hated my ATI one.

For £212 thats not bad. ATI release drivers every month and their drives are much better now. Nvidia take ages with drivers which is why they suck. Anyway roll on Battlefield 2..wanna see what it looks like with max settings :D

£212 from dabs

I don't like ATI products they smell of wee, also i have found many THQ games and a few others don't always work very well until a new drver set is out.
