Oh, and please, call me DW :cP
back to the topic in question, yes i am too into muse. it tends to be an older people thing, like 18 or 19 above, and even though i love their music (im 14), everyone else around me hears the name and comments on them being crap or 'totullee shi-ite'. but they're the kind who listen to the linkin park type. They think muse are crap until they hear one of my favourites. then they think they're good...
'good' doesn't do justice. the people who disrespect muse are those who only believe in one type of song - heavy heavy metal, with a crap intro...
Muscle Museum
Plug-in baby
Micro cuts
Sunburn
Cave
those five are my favourites at the moment. the thing about muse is that they do two textures of music - hard and soft. sometimes they use both in a song. an example of 'soft' is 'falling down' or 'unintended', and 'hard' are songs like 'cave' and 'plug-in baby'.
an example of both used in a single song is 'citizen erased' or 'megalomania'.
get hold of those...
I'm considering purchasing Absolution when I get payed - Cause Stockholm Syndrome was bloody awesome when I heard it.
