England up to 6th, then? Well, I suppose the teams around them have been playing crap, while they've not lost in ages now. Republic of Ireland have stayed right where they were before, in 14th place. Scotland moved up from 59th to 53rd, while Wales fell from 52nd to join Scotland. Northern Ireland moved up one position from 112, but still look far too far down the list.
Strange to see Italy so low in the ranks, and Costa Rica so high. Colombia have also dropped into the mid-20s despite at this time last year being 4th. Czech Republic are climbing at an alarming rate as well, and sit 8th.
Ah well, that's all.

I thought England won Tournouri de France back in 1998??!!?
Euro 2000
Le Tournie
Confederations cup (unsure of exact name)
France have won the lot in last 5 years hence their top 2 placing.
Costa Rica are only so high because the opposition they play against are mostly rubbish- in the CONCACAF region they play in the only real opposition they have are the USA, Jamaica and Mexico. A lot of the teams they play against are underfunded, and based in countries where most people die before they're 40.
That, and they've got some good players like Wanchope.

Nope that is not an exageration. In fact it's more than 9, it's 12.
