I am completely amazed Limp Bizkit are still held in such high regard by so many people.

Exactly.
The Real Thing had 1 song with rapping - Epic.
But you find me any rapping on Angel Dust, King for a Day or Album of The Year and I'll do a jig on my desk waving my adidas.
The earlier albums, Introduce Yourself and We Care a Lot had rapping from Chuck Moseley, but that's because he was an awful singer.

Yet his band, Cement, gave quite possibly the best gig I've ever been to at The Square ages ago

This is also true. I think rap metal was probably meant to mean 'experimental' (ie anything but crappy Metallica, Maiden, Judas Priest or any of that drudgery).

Faith No More are rock as far as I'm concerned.

There is so much Lynx in this thread it's unreal.

And whoever said Faith No More are rap metal, you need to pull your ears out of your ass and listen to more than Epic.

Errr...have you actually heard any of their songs? Let's look at the MI:2 theme, Take A Look Around.

Just some random lyrics from song here. Taken from :: limpsite.com

"Life's just a blast cuz its movin' really fast
So ya better stay on top or life'll kick you in the ass"

"I know why you wanna hate me
Cuz hate is all the world has even seen lately"

"Cuz life is a lesson, you'll learn it when you're through"

That last line is my favourite lyric in any song. I think. It was my MSN nickname for a while. Just my little opinion.

I think a lot of Limp Bizkit's music is good but 90% of the lyrics are terrible.

Limp Bizkit are a really poor band. Their songs are teenage anger drivel. The lyrics have little or no meaning, and the actual music is just dance/pop played on a distorted guitar. Of course, all you "rockers" are fooled by this. And Fred Durst can't sing.

If you want a rap-rock band then listen to Faith No More.
There.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
