Vanity contests are equal, regardless of whether they are for babies or otherwise. What? All babies are ugly. Fact. When they reach the age of 2 or 3 is when they get cute. Until then it's ugly all the way....that is unless the child is doomed to look like a monkey for the rest of it's life then...well that'll teach the parents for trying to breed.
