A souped-up version of the acclaimed ZT-T reached an astonishing 225.6 MPH on the salt flats of Utah, America last month.
Design director Peter Stevens, of McLaren Formula 1 fame, decided to build a 200 MPH estate derived from the forthcoming MG ZT-T V8.
He said: "This is about testing vehicles to their limits in some of the most extreme conditions in the world.
"Not only are we pleased with the acievement, this form ofextreme testing has demonstrated the capability of future developments."'"

Well I'm impressed. I like MG and it's good to see the only big British car company left has still got talent and ambition.
I was at the salt flats only 6-7 weeks ago. Less traction than tarmac. Impressive sight mind.
