"New Nickelback album."

It is called The Long Road and it is out on Monday.

I managed to get hold of it a week early so have already heard it.

It is ace. The whole album is good. Standout tracks include Someday, which is as catchy as How You Remind Me, and as good a song to boot.

Flat On The Floor is a really energetic heavy rock song.

Do This Anymore is another personal fav.

The collectors edition has 14 tracks.

It is really listener friendly heavy rock. You can sit back and relax to it. My favourite album of the year. Go buy it, and put rock back at the top of the charts.

I could have bought a japanese edition of one of their albums for 20 quid. It was all in japanese and had a different design but I assumed it was one of the three I already had.

What colour was it? I doubt Hesher would ever have made it to Japan, it was sold at their gigs when they were still playing the club circuit in Canada.

This was an independent record store so it may have been a semi-legal copy.

I think it was blue. It had coins on the cover I think.

Come to think of it it was probably the japanese version of Silver-Side Up

No... Just no.. they are so so bad its untrue, i mean would any self-respecting band make an appearance on GMTV? No... Bit of luck Chad will pull a drowning pool trick, putting an end to the most talentless band to ever be compared with the holy Nirvana...

Don't give us it. Nickelback are more accomplished musicians than Novoselic and Cobain. Grohl is a great drummer though. I like Nirvana, but how they made it big still surprises me.

I wish Axl HAD punched Kurt in the face at that awards thing.

Short albums aren't necessarily bad.

Domestica (Cursive) is only 9 tracks, and it manages to be brilliant.

And I'd hardly call Rage grunge.

I wish I'd seen them live. I've seen The Battle Of Mexico City, and that was cool enough.
