Right, I have £190 to spend and i want an mp3 player. I am unsure on what to buy. I was looking at one of these new 1.5GB Muvo suared ones.

iPods are not crap. And you don't need Firewire, it'll work over USB.

i'm thinking of getting the MUVO NX.
it's only 128 meg, but it'll be a great walkman substitute.
Apparantly it gets good battery life, there's no leads/software or drivers needed and it doubles as a pen drive, which personally i'd find VERY useful.

really depends what you want it to do and how much space you want... 2 hours of music is enough for me, especially when it's SO easy to change the playlist...

Yes, But I'd rather have 30 songs which like than 2,500 of which only a few are decent.

That and GC has got a killer line up this christmas
