It's the Champions League im talking about. Barcelona have some of the most experinace players in the CL yet they have failed to even qualify for the champions league this season and havent exactly done that well either in the past few years in that competition either.
Im not writing off Chlsea in the least but I was commenting on more why the media are being idiots - Chelsea going to places like Sparta Prague, an environment which Chelsea are not used and need the biug names to stand up and the English Media think it's an easy tie and condemning Chelsea for scraping a win.

Lot to learn about Europe? whats that suppose to mean, we haqve won the cup winners cup, got to the semi's, held our own against the barcelona of old.
Ok we had 3 crap seasons to follow, but if we are being honest it was horrendous bad luck and this is a new team. Got players like Dessa, Makalele, Crespo who are 3 of the best champions league veterans of our time.
We stand as much chance as most of the elite, and too write us of would be foolhardy at least. we always have been the team who struggles with the minnows, and gives the big teams a top performace. Now its just big teams we'll see the true chelsea like we did in 99!

And especially bad for Chelsea since Arsenal have hardly spent a penny and Uniteds outgoings in personel may have been smaller than the incomings but the revenue generated from Veron/Beckham far outweighs all of them coming in.

I don't agree with he statement you say about United above, because we have had the same for years on end and it is the same for Arsenal, But Chelsea still have a lot to learn in Europe and the media don't understand that it takes time for players to gell together etc
The same reason why Chelsea got a roasting for drawing against Blackburn because now that they have bought £100 mill worth of talent people will put them down just for that fact and will be looking at minor things like that to work on, stupid I know but that's how it is.

Arsenal-man utd is an on going battle. Chelsea are a new threat. Basically i'd be allowed to prattle on ill the end of the season, if we win it everything will go quiet for a bit, and then we'll get afew "hollow victory threads"/ "You bought the title threads", If we lose I'll get absolutely roasted!
