"Don't know if you'll remember this, but"

Not sure if anyone will remember this, but a few weeks ago I posted a topic about my best friend going on holidays and asking a friend from college to go with her and being gone on my 21st, and not remembering my birhtday was coming up.

Well, she went on holidays on Saturday. A few of you suggested it might be a guise for a surprise party somehow, but I saw the tickets and they're not back until the week after my b'day.She genuinely forgot, and I never brought it up that she forgot like some of you thought I should. Just thought I'd let you know (like anyone cares :P).

Yar, retail therapy at its best.

I'll probably just go out and spend some money. It being a Saturday is a handy day for getting out to the shops.

Oh if you do have a party, inlcude some samba music.

Great idea. Though most of us here are actually under 18, so it's more of a babysitting party...

Nope, my parents will be on holidays 'til the day after my b'day and the rest of my family live abroad. And my best friend (insert only friend) will be on holidays.

But surely there must be someone free on the day?
