Because they don't want you to put your winky/tongue in their bumhole/Blaine, just by looking at them.
Seriously though, it's just narrow-mindedness on their parts. They'll grow out of it eventually, or they'll end up writing columns for the Daily Mail ("Blonde hair, blue eyes, schnell!"). I think there are some there gay teens about on this forum. Quite a lot of confused ones too. And don't get upset by people calling things "gay" all the time. It's just friendly (not THAT friendly!) banter, and it's usually when people are debating which LOTR film was better - "Gandalf looked gay", "Gollum is as bent as a hedge", etc... Just remember that they're geeks and can't hurt you over the Internet.
