Yup. York is the Times' Uni of the Year. Don't really know what that means, but it must be good. Turns out I was right to go for this and not Durham or Warwick then. Good for me. And York, obviously.

So, to make this an actual discussion topic, who's off to uni in the next 3 weeks or so? How's the preperation going? Is your uni the uni of the year? Didn't think so :)

Excuse me.

Yes. It's true. Me going there will cause their 25 million bioscience block to implode, the teaching quality in every department to zero, the intellect of every student to half and it's reputation as a whole to crash. I did put it on my personal statement, but they seem to have ignored it, so it's their fault when it happens. I did warn them.

I start Uni on the 23rd Sept. Studying English Studies at Sheffield Hallam Uni. I'll be staying at home though as the Uni is only a 30 minute drive away, or shorter using the trains/trams (or thats the way its suppose to be).

Preps going fine. I already have my book list for the first year, so i have already bought a few that i have been reading beforehand.

Looking quite forward to it actually.

I don't really know whether to take that light heartedly, or as a psychopathic rant in madness.
Hmm.

I've just been reading about York in that very same paper. The teaching quality is better than Oxford, according to that. I'm considering going there next year. You can talk Buffy at me while I ignore you.
