Following this appauling run of results from Spurs, it leaves me wondering if Tottenham will be this seasons West Ham. To be fair, maybe a lower division would suit Spurs, seeing as a large number of our squad have been purchased from lower league teams. But pessimism aside, what is the answer? What can be done to turn Spurs around? Clearly young foreigners aren't the answer, neither are 2nd rate strikers, or inspirational loan signings, or a former ledgend and former england manager. So maybe a new physio is the answer, perhaps Redknapps missus would be good. Or maybe a big bucks buyout, perhaps we could ask Bill Gates nicely to buy us out, and have a White Hart Revolution with annual ThankBillGatesGiving Days.
Why give Hoddle an ultimatum, just get him out. Otherwise I'm gonna support Pompey.
Any of you guys have any ideas?

Your having a laugh mate. Lampard is one of the most under-rated players in the premiership.

Why are you all pointing blame towards the players? It isnt their fault. It is obviously Hoddles fault, the blame can be laid no where else. We really dont NEED any more signings except for a goalkeeper. Just someone that can motivate players before during and after matches, someone said about having Teddy back as manager, but I doubt he'd want to come back after they let him go, why not give Gus the player/manager role. Its been a while since we've seen a player/manager in the premiership, who knows, maybe this time it might work! (doubtful)

Keller
Carr King Richards Ziege
Davies Poyet Redknapp Dalmat
Keane/Postiga/Zamora/Kanoute

Dunno bout you, but to me the prospect of Keane and Postiga up front makes me drool....

Ziege will be back within the next month says Hodd then again this is the man who completely swore blind we wouldn't lose to Chelski. But yeah Poyet is getting on but man is he crazy. As i said before he will never give up and this is what we need. Ricketts has looked good going forward and coming up there is Yeates and Slabber who look OK and i repeat OK. Also Dalmate and Konchelsky are meanna be damn gioiod though i haven't seen them play. We do however need to splash out a bit of money though.

Your defence is alright, your keepers good, and youve got good options going forward. Your midfield contary to what you said is pathetic. use keane in midfield? pah. Redknapp is alright when not injured and i emphasise ALRIGHT. Poyet is getting to old, although you got an excellent first season out of him and showed chelsea to be foolish for parting with him so soon. If you view spurs from an unemotionally attached perspective you'll realise that the only midfielder who'll get into any of the teams you so wish to eplicate, is Davies. This highlights the weakness in the middle. Ziege is a very good option on the left but is a long term worry but once he's back in a couple of months you'll be sorted.

Its in the centre trouble starts and to be honest nobody there is off a high enough standard for the level spurs fans expect there club to be performing at. Going forward redknapp is a confident player but lacks consistency, i've mentioned it before but David dunn was perfect for spurs and would have been a great for them going forward. He is no longer an option but their are other choices, scotty paker would be perfect and well worth the 5-6 mill outlay as he has commitment written all over him, and is ambitious going forward but always the first to track back. At the risk of sounding like a brum supporter a robbie savage is the other player you need. Being realistic you are not going to land the Keane's and viera's of this world but Savage is the perfect type of ball winner for a club with aspirations for greater things. If spurs get these types of player in you'll see the rest of the team step up a level as the defence will have far more cover and the forwards will have greater support. Your not there yet but with just a couple more astute signings you could easily leapfrog a good number of teams and rab that uefa place that kickstarts the big time.
