"Spirits, ghosts etc."

For once this is not spam so please if i'm maing the effort can you answer properly.

I was just wondering if any of you beleive in ghosts etc. or have ever had any experience of ghosts.

I dont think there particular people more like spirits.
And on most accounts they dont try to actually scare you.

I'd like to believe that ghosts exist. T'would be super to contact people from the afterlife. But at the most "spooky", I think that apparitions are imprints from events of the past. I've got my own theories on this regarding light and sound, which could explain see-through people and walking through walls. I don't believe that ghosts can communicate, or scare people on purpose. Derek Acorah scares me though - and he's mostly alive still.

A lot of research by parapsychologists seems to indicate that ghosts are the emotional imprint of people. In other words, they're almost like a kind of recording, rather than something that can be interacted with.

There is some (admittedly, decidedly dodgy) evidence to back this up; many ghosts seem to stick to a particular routine, and Anne Boleyn's 'ghost' in the Tower of London was actually heard before she was even executed.

Personally, I don't think the existence of ghosts has been sufficiently proved or disproved, so I keep an open mind.

Ghosts are just a figment of our imagination and another human ploy to try and give life meaning. "Oh if there are Ghosts that must mean there is an afterlife and we don't simply just stop existing".

No Ghosts, no afterlife, just void.

I never used to beleive in them until November/December 2000. Me and my mates always used to jump over the gates of a school to play tracker. There were quite alot of bushes and trees to hide in.

It was around 8-9 O'clock and was pitch black and decided to go and get something to eat from the fish and chip shop. As we went to climb over the big metal gates, I realised I'd left my mobile on the bench and went back to get it.

I picked up my mobile, when I was startled by a russeling noise of somebody walking through leaves. I turned around to see a white figure, which wasn't glowing and had no facial details or anything, just a white humanish white figure.

I wanted to shout my mates, but found that I was too stunned to do anything. After a few seconds a turned and ran towards the gate where my mates, and couldn't run as fast I normally could. When I told them they just laughed at me and decided to take a look around. They didn't find anything other than white cat.

They took the mickey out of me saying that I was scared of a white cat, but I know that I saw a white figure that was around 6 foot.

im fifty, fifty on this i think they do exist on one half of me then the other half says that they dont exist.

Why d'you say that?? Experience??
